2007 Highlights of Misa ng Bayan sa Altadena
please pray for us Blessed Mother so that we can continue our Filipino Mass every Sunday @ the Sacred Heart Parish in Altadena. This is the best of 2007, a lot of people wants to shut us down, I am pleading and begging pls pray for us instead so that our mass will heal and help a lot of souls in purgatory, we have at least 25 families now and also the El Shaddai brothers and sisters who have supported our mass from the beginning. I just want to thank those people who are closing us because the more we get persecuted the more stronger we get. I just want to ask them one thing...What do you think our Lord Jesus Christ would do???Is he going to close us down or encourage us to continue our Mission of sharing our faith in the Sacred Heart Parish which prides itself of catering to Ethnic Communities...you be the Judge. We had a blast last year and all the blessings to each family over flowed. Thanks be to God. Yes I will still serve the big church, but our Ministry at the Small Sacred Heart Parish is to serve the Lord not our EGOS. Please leave all the old Pinoy traits in the island of the Philippines, Let's help each other from now on and empower the youth to carry on the tradition of the Rich Filipino Catholic Faith. The Enchanted Forest, Altadena
***READ FIRST*** On May 30, 2008 a group of Eagle Rock High School students exited a showing of "The Strangers" at the Paseo-Colorado Shopping Center. They then proceeded up Lake Avenue to a local McDonald's. From there the students continued up to the Cobbs Estate, also known as the Enchanted Forest, which is rumored to be haunted. Shortly after arriving the 15 ERHS students encountered a group of roughly 20 students from San Gabriel High School and the two groups decided to head west of the Enchanted Forest up Echo Mountain to find the ruins of the once grand Echo Mountain House. First Segment: In Joe's car on the way to McDonald's Second Segment: In the parking lot of McDonald's Third Segment: At the Enchanted Forest/Echo Mountain Camera work is a shaky because I had to try to walk on the rocky dirt trail while trying to narrate what is going on, plus the light to my camera (which doesn't have night vision) is quite blinding so i had trouble seeing where i was going. Please try to get past that.
